The lawyer of the former president of the Generalitat Carles puigdemontGonzalo Boye, has assured that the Catalan independence leader will return to Catalonia in 2023: “I am convinced”.
In an interview in RAC 1 this Thursday, collected by Europa Press, he explained that it will be after resolution at the request of the European Parliament, which he hopes will take place at the end of February or March.
He has rejected that the Magistrate of the Supreme Court (TS) Pablo Llarena a crime of aggravated public disorder replacing sedition, the abolition of which the Penal Code took effect this Thursday.
Llarena has removed the crime of sedition from the prosecution against Puigdemont but has kept it for the crimes of disobedience and embezzlement, while annulling the Euro order against the pro-independence leader.
