She is a community representative in the noble community of Lech am Arlberg in Vorarlberg, founder of a co-operative with a feeling for the pulse of the times and with her “dare the future” list quite a combative opposition. In the “Krone” interview, she now speaks clearly and explains why Lech needs to find herself again: Brigitte Finner.
Crown: You are a member of the Lech City Council, the only representative on your “Dare to the Future” list. Lech is always in the headlines. What’s different here?
Bridget finds: A tourist community like Lech is really something else because it is mostly monoculture and not diversity. Everyone works in tourism, we don’t need each other like we used to. In addition, many things have been reduced, such as the range of handicraft shops or service providers. Lech is also a community of destiny. We don’t have a natural inflow, people accept an inheritance here. This legacy makes life very special. And innovative thinking is often slow to catch on.
