Wilfried Haslauer (ÖVP) has not had enough. He is seeking a third term as governor of Salzburg. At the end of the interview series “Krone” about the state elections in Salzburg, he talks about crises, the uncertainty of the voters and what he regrets.
“crown”: Mr. Haslauer, you have been a member of the state government for 19 years and governor for 10 years. What haven’t you done yet that you want to tackle now?
Wilfried Haslauer: A lot of. When one question is answered, two new ones arise. We are in a permanent process of development of the country, including society, which is constantly reformed and brings new challenges. In this respect, there is still much to be done in the coming period. The country is doing well economically, well-governed and has very good infrastructure, but there are many problems to be solved that require massive attention in the coming period.
