Top opens case against PP MP Alberto Cassero over contracts for mayor

The Supreme Court has decided to file a criminal case against Alberto Cassero, a popular party MP who erred in voting for labor reform over a breach of several contracts he signed under the mayor of the extremist city of Trujillo. The judges will investigate five contracts worth more than 70,000 euros from 2017 to 2018, according to the prosecution, without the necessary reports and without informing Consistor himself.
