The Junta de Andalucía partially covered the posters so that currently only the motto “Aupa Osasuna” remains visible; without the name of the political party, the ikurriña and the flag of Navarre.
The EH Bildu logo is covered on the Osasuna support panels which were placed this Friday around the La Cartuja stadium in Seville, where the final of the Copa del Rey will be played today between the team from Navarra and Real Madrid.
The billboards, which read the motto “Aupa Osasuna” together with the EH Bildu logo, the ikurriña and the Navarra flag, are still there; But the part in which the political party expressed its support is covered with a blue cloth to the team, as well as the flags.
Once it was known that they had been placed, the PSOE presented a complaint lodged with the Electoral Council of Seville (JEZ) against EH Bildu and asked this body to order the Junta de Andalucía, owner of the land, the immediate withdrawal.
For his part, The city council of Seville has demanded that the Junta de Andalucía intervene immediately to order the removal of the billboards installed on land belonging to the Autonomous Administration next to the La Cartuja stadium and in the municipal area of the Sevillian city of Santiponce.
In a statement, the church council indicated that this billboard violates electoral law, which expressly prohibits this type of advertising of political parties before the start of the election campaign.
