Controversial staff – opposition rages because of Tratter: “Postenschacher!”

Date:

There were apparently no discussions within the black-red Tyrolean coalition recently that ex-ÖVP state councilor Johannes Tratter succeeded ex-SPÖ party leader Hannes Gschwentner at Neue Heimat. As reported, the change should take place when Geschwentner retires. LHS deputy Georg Dornauer (SPÖ) sees an ideal solution, the opposition just the opposite!

Dornauer is “100 percent behind the decision”: “We have always said that we will take the most suitable candidate, that was clear Johannes Tratter to everyone. He knows all the mayors in the country, and almost everyone knows him.” Dornauer stated that Tratter was a municipal official in the state for ten years and was responsible for construction as well as housing subsidies.

Not surprising for the FPÖ
For the head of the largest opposition party in the state parliament, Markus Abwerzger (FP), the appointment is “not surprising”: “That was probably the morning gift from the SPÖ to the ÖVP during the coalition negotiations, in return the SPÖ got three in instead of two members of the government and Dornauer became the first LH deputy,” Abwerzger analyzes. He does not deny Tratter’s qualification, “but the way the post haggles leaves a stale aftertaste”.

Greens: “Return of the party book economy”
As ex-partners of the ÖVP, the Greens are also critical: “With black and red, the old party book economy returns”, says Groenenbaas Gebi Mair. He reports “great outrage both among the population and in Neue Heimat itself. Even resignation of the supervisory board in protest is expected. “The “ÖVP-Freundschaftsdienst” will have parliamentary consequences, Mair announces.

Three financial scandals under the era of Tratter
“Postenschacher from the political Stone Age” localizes List Fritz club president Markus Sint: “LH Mattle and Dornauer have shown their true face! Businesses and Tyrolean taxpayers are suffering as a result.” Neos boss Dominik Oberhofer recalls that “besides the MCI disaster, two other financial scandals (Matrei, GemNova) started under Tratter. Political failure is rewarded in Tyrol.”

Mattle: No discrimination by politicians
LH Anton Mattle, on the other hand, defended the order: “Politicians should not be banned from re-establishing a foothold in the private sector,” he said: “We cannot discriminate against politicians. Otherwise we will find no boy. “

Tratter should give up “immediately”.
Mattle assumes that Tratter will soon relinquish his seat in the state parliament. In this case, entrepreneur Kathrin Brugger withdraws through the state list because Sophia Kircher takes over the district mandate from Tratter.
