It was one of the most horrible crimes that have ever existed in Upper Austria: the young camper fell into the hands of two animals during a holiday trip. Now the last tragedy ended.
Christian Horner can’t get anything out of the version so easily. Before moving to politics, the Upper Austrian murder investigator was in the crime department of the Governic Command. What he and his colleagues have seen – you can’t imagine it. A case still moves him today.
No memory
It was on August 23, 1990 when a half -striking seriously injured person was found in a forest near Ohlsdorf: tied up, tied up, partially paralyzed, without any memory. His identity could only be clarified because he had lost his memory: the then 27-year-old René Widdershoven from Kerkrade in the Netherlands traveled with his Gabrielle to Hungary (27). During the rest in the parking lot next to the West Autobahn in Pucking, they fell into the hands of the Slovak Jan Molnar (then 48) and Lubor Masar (then 31).
