The President of the Generalitat and the President of the Government of Spain had a brief conversation on their arrival at the Cercle d’Economia meeting in the midst of the controversy over the wiretapping with Pegasus.

serious face in the first greeting between Pedro Sanchez and Pere Aragones amid growing controversy over spying on pro-independence leaders, including the head of the Generalitat himself. Both fell together in Barcelona, in an act of the Cercle d’Economia.
Sánchez arrived at the gates of Hotel W Barcelona together with the Government Delegate in Catalonia, Maria Eugènia Gay, and was received by Aragonès, the Minister of Transport, Raquel Sànchez, the Minister of Culture and Sports, Miquel Iceta, the Lieutenant of the Mayor of Prevention and Security of Barcelona, Albert Batlle, and the President of the Cercle, Javier Faus.
After the greeting, Sánchez placed himself next to Aragonès and they had a conversation with some four minutes before receiving the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen.
The words exchanged between the two presidents have been produced with a serious and cool face at all times, and according to government sources, Aragonés Sánchez has told that the situation is “serious” and has insisted on talk it face to face
