The Government Gazette (BOE) published the royal decree on Tuesday dissolution of the Cortes and from call for general electionssigned by the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez and approved by the King, for the next July 23.
The publication of Royal Decree 400/2023 of 29 May opening of the election period and determines the entire calendar established by the Organic Law of the General Electoral Regime (LOREG), as it comes into effect immediately.
