In the case of Zeberio, Garaialde has confirmed that “the official version was used to remove the possible responsibility of the Ertzaintza” and questions the true purpose of the operation: “Did they want to stop Ina or kill her?”. In this sense, Garaialde has assured that no judicial inquiry with evidence has “never” verified that version; “People who were with Ina at the time of her death made that clear the first to fire for no reason was the Ertzaintza“.
