The President of the Basque PP, Carlos Iturgaizhas labeled the statements of the former Minister of Justice and Home Affairs as “unjustifiable”, Juan Alberto Bellochlast weekend, going on to say that the cost of the GAL was “minimal” and that Galindo had “more than enough earnings for promotion.”
In an interview for Radio Euskadi’s “Boulevard” program, Iturgaiz pointed out that the PP “absolutely condemns all violence, all terrorism”, whatever they are called and wherever they come from, such as that of the GAL, that of ETA, the FARC and the jihadists. “It’s the same, you can’t justify the unjustified,” he said.
Likewise, it has stressed that EH Bildu “continues without condemning ETA’s attacks”.
Asked about the conflict in the Ertzaintza, Iturgaiz has accused the Lehendakari, Security Council member and PNV leaders of “throwing fuel on the fire”. On the other hand, he has asked the ertzainas to “protest rationally but without intervening” at the start of the Tour de France, and he is “confident that it will be”.
