The Dutch soccer team continue his preparation for world, which kicks off in three weeks in Australia and New Zealand amid growing anticipation. The ‘lionesses’, without being one of the top favourites, are always candidates and they seem ready to start.
Yesterday, Sunday, they played a friendly match against the youth team of Amsterdam Volewijckers about which the Dutch federation suggested that nothing be known for fear that the result could affect the footballers due to the differential component that the dispute of a meeting between girls.
But as is often the case most of the time, the result was overdone. They won 2-1. Esmee Brugts and Daniëlle van de Donk scored for ‘Orange’, while Ivar Wijna scored for the Amsterdam team.
