The PNV concludes its campaign in Bilbao, the PSE-EE in Portugalete, EH Bildu in San Sebastián and the PP in Vitoria, while Sumar Euskadi’s candidates travel to Madrid. UPN, PSN, EH Bildu Nafarroa, Sumar Navarra and Geroa Bai will perform their final performance in Pamplona.
The PNV closes its campaign for the July 23 general election in Bilbao this Friday, the PSE-EE in the Vizcaya city of Portugalete, EH Bildu in Donostia-San Sebastián and the PP in Vitoria-Gasteiz, while Sumar’s candidates will move Euskadi to Madrid to take part in the act that will lead its leader, Yolanda Díaz. In Navarre, the political parties will also end this Friday in an atypical way an election campaign that was also very unique due to its celebration in the month of July and the coincidence, in the case of Pamplona, with the San Fermín festivities.
The jeltzales will end the campaign at 8:00 p.m. on the Paseo del Arenal from the capital of Biscay, where they will hold a party meeting, in which the heads of the congress list for Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and Bizkaia, Aitor Esteban, Maribel Vaquero and Mikel Legarda, respectively, will participate. The lehendakari, Iñigo Urkullu, and the president of the PNV’s EBB, Andoni Ortuzar, will join them on stage to make their final call to vote.
Also in Bizkaia, in Portugalethas been the framework chosen by the PSE-EE to offer its last political act in this campaign. At 6:30 PM, at the Doctor Areilza Park Patxi López, the head of the socialist list of the Congress of Deputies, will try to mobilize the electorate from his hometown to vote for the socialists in elections that will be decisive for Pedro Sánchez to remain president of the Spanish government. López will be joined in the political act by the Secretary General of the PSE-EE, Eneko Andueza, and the number one lists for the House of Commons for Gipuzkoa and Álava, Rafaela Romero and Daniel Senderos respectively.
EH Bildu will end his campaign with a rally in the San Sebastian Boulevard at 8:15 PMin which the general coordinator, Arnaldo Otegi, will participate, together with the heads of the list for Congress and Senate for Gipuzkoa, Mertxe Aizpurua and Gorka Elejabarrieta, respectively.
Sumar’s candidates, led by the number one candidates for Congress from Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and Álava, Lander Martínez, Pilar Garrido and Guillermo Presa, who have campaigned under the slogan ‘Zugatik (with you)’ will travel to the capital to to accompany the formation leader and vice-president of the government, Yolanda Díaz, on the party with which she will end the electoral struggle. In the morning, at 11:30.before going to the Auditorium of the Tierno Galvan Park in Madridwhere the party will come from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PMwill the left coalition hold an election act in the Easo Square in Donostia-San Sebastian.
Finally, the PP has selected Vitoria-Gasteiz to celebrate its latest rally. It will 6:30 p.m. at Plaza del Arca, and will have the presence of the President of the Popular Euskadi, Carlos Iturgaiz, and the number one of the Congress for the three historic areas: Javier de Andrés (Álava), Beatriz Fanjul (Bizkaia) and Joana Arce (Gipuzkoa). The act will be presented by the president of the Alava PP, Iñaki Oyarzabal.
In the Foral Community, UPN specifically has the 6:30 pm a campaign closing ceremony in Pamplona in front of the Monument to the Fueros, on Paseo Sarasateand the PP will do it at the door of its headquarters 6:00 PM. For his part, EH Bildu has called the closing ceremony of the campaign in Antoniutti at 7 p.m.
PSN, Sumar Navarra and Geroa Bai put the campaign on the shelf in the morning with separate acts: the socialists on 12:00 p.m. at Paseo SarasateAdd to the 10:30 am at Plaza San Jose and Geroa Bai will give to the 10:30 a press conference on the campaign balance at headquarters.
On the other hand, the PNV supervises the election night next Sunday at Sabin Etxea’s headquarters in Bilbao. The PSE-EE will also have its headquarters in the capital of Biscay; Sumar, at Hotel Silken Indautxu, and the popular Basques, at Hotel Catalonia. For his part, EH Bildu will await the results of the elections at his location in Donostia-San Sebastián.
