Consultation on monarchy or republic in Euskadi and Navarre, 14 May: 50 voting points

The consultation organized by the Monarchy of Republic State Popular Consultation Platform has the support of Podemos, IU, the PCE and anti-capitalists, among other civil and trade union organizations. More than 700 polling stations have been set up across the country and 15 abroad.

For this reason, we have formed a broad unitary platform and plural to promote a state plebiscite so that citizens can decide on one of these two options” and encourage citizens to participate: “we are aware that this consultation may not be binding, but it is a way of expression, of civic participation, and an act of democracy through which we can exercise our right to decide on everything that concerns us”.

The consultation, which is not binding, has the support of Podemos, IU, the PCE and anti-capitalists, among other civil and trade union organizations. Vox and PP have described the initiative as “illegal”.

The voting points are open between 11:00 and 15:00.
