The federal government invests in new cycle paths
To increase the share of bicycle traffic, the federal government is investing a lot of money in new bicycle paths and other financing. In 2023, 68 million euros have been budgeted for the financing program. Since 2020, approximately 392 kilometers of cycling infrastructure and more than 3,700 bicycle parking spaces have been financially supported throughout Austria, the minister said.
