In the trial against the murder of Swedish rapper C. Gambino, a court in Gothenburg sentenced four men to imprisonment. One got a lifelong prison. “The shootout had the character of a real execution,” said President Anne Rapp’s president.
The 26-year-old rapper was shot in a parking garage in Gothenburg in June 2024. According to the court it was a conflict between criminal gangs. The murder itself is not said that he was part of a criminal network, but had been in contact with people from the gangs. The artist, who was called Karrar Ramada with a bourgeois name, was named Swedish hip -hop artist of the year in 2024.
Four men were accused of murder, two of them for “murder or help to murder”. However, the court could not clearly prove that the defendants had actually given the fatal shots.
