After the sudden resignation of two ministers last week, the ÖVP was able to take a breather last Saturday. Chancellor Karl Nehammer got a whopping 100 percent approval from Turkish deputies – there has never been a result like this for a federal party chairman!
SPÖ wants to run for new elections!
Nevertheless, there is skepticism and criticism, the SPÖ will even come up with a new election motion in the next plenum on Wednesday! In their eyes, the “future tasks” lie fallow.
