“We would like to appeal to remain faithful to the education agreement and call for accuracy in order to conduct a high-quality political debate; and we call on all political parties and all parties to act coherently,” he stated.
Arrese discussed the situation in statements to journalists in the Basque parliament upcoming milestones when the project is discussed in parliament. In this way, and according to the coalition’s forecasts, the debate on the full amendments (if they are ultimately tabled) would take place on October 19, after the deadline for tabling amendments closes next Tuesday; and from there the accompanying presentation would be launched to discuss the partial amendments, carrying out his work without a deadline.
In this context, and after emphasizing that this debate should not be excessively postponed, he clarified that “haste is not good”.
