The aim, according to the Basque government’s Lehendakari, is to try to ensure that the PNV “does not run the governments in the Basque institutions”.
The lehendakari, Inigo Urkullubelieves that there is a “strategy” to try to “discredit” the PNV because it “seems more profitable to prioritize” EH Bildu and ensure that the Jeltzales have “reduced representation” in the institutions.
This was stated in an interview with Cadena Ser on Monday, in which he made it clear that his party enjoys “absolutely robust health”.
For the Lehendakari, it seems that “it is much more profitable to give priority to Euskal Herria Bildu in a dispute with the Basque Nationalist Party and, in that sense, turn the Basque Nationalist Party into a party with reduced representation.”
In this sense, he has again criticized the fact that “within what is the legitimate political strategy” there is “a climate” in Euskadi in which “Iinterests of political parties with interests also from the economic, social and trade union spheres”, so that for months there has been “a shared strategy” in “the use of social conflict also with political objectives”.
The aim, Iñigo Urkullu has emphasized, is to try to ensure that the PNV “does not lead the governments in the Basque institutions.”
