This woman is very interested in Austria! Alessia Ambrosi, member of the Italian ruling party Fratelli d’Italia and friend of the Tyrolean SPÖ leader Georg Dornauer, met Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) on Friday at the nations match between Austria and Belgium.
“With Karl Nehammer cancelliere Federale dell’Austria,” Ambrosi wrote on Instagram and posted a video about it.
Before the football match at the Ernst Happel Stadium, Ambrosi was with Dornauer at a wine awards ceremony in Burgenland.
Love between parties over the Brenner
Ambrosi, MP from Trentino for Fratelli d’Italia, the right-wing party of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, made public her collaboration with Tyrol’s top red party in an interview with the “Corriere del Trentino” in early August.
“We are certainly not the first case of people with different beliefs and ideas falling in love,” said 41-year-old Ambrosi, who saw the trump card of love taking precedence over political differences and then continued poetically. “Two hearts united, two different parties.”
The couple caused a stir in the summer with their beach photos. “The photos were made public against my will,” Dornauer told various media at the time, including the “Krone”. A tip to his partner, Ambrosi uploaded the photos to her private Instagram account. Dornauer, on the other hand, makes a strict separation between private and professional matters.
