The current provincial delegate of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Territorial Development of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia is from Santurtzi and is 48 years old.
Imanol Pradales Gil He is the person chosen by the PNV’s Euzkadi Buru Batzar (EBB) as a candidate for lehendakari in the next Basque regional elections. Born in Santurtzi in 1975currently that is the case regional deputy of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Territorial Development of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.
Doctorate in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Deusto, he has been a professor there, although he has been on leave since 2007. At that university he also held management positions and was the promoter and general director of the DeustuLan employment center.
After being general manager at Bizkaia:xede, now Bizkaia:talent, he was brought to the Provincial Council of Bizkaia by José Luis Bilbao in 2011. He started as deputy for Economic Promotion and since 2015 he has been deputy for Infrastructure and Territorial Development, first in the Unai Rementeria government team and together with Elixabete Etxanobe in the current term.
Among the infrastructures it has promoted are the Supersur extension, the Lamiako subfluvial tunnel project that will connect the two banks of the estuary, and the project that will cover La Avanzada in Leioa.
Pradales does sports fan and was a rower of the Sotera for 17 years; He even rowed in La Concha. He has lived in Portugalete for ten years and spends his free time with his family and crew.
