According to purple coalition sources, the PNV and the PSE-EE have reached an agreement with Elkarrekin Podemos-IU to promote the Basque law on children and adolescents.
The same sources have specified what the Group introduced in the original text greater coverage, benefits and mediation assistanceas well as institutional obligations in the prevention of sexual violence in social networks and the access to pornamong other things.
The new law on children and adolescents recognizes the predominance of the interests of minors as holders of rights and not as subjects of protection and seeks to “guarantee the free development of personality and the restoration and restitution of violated rights.”
The standard aims to “promote and guarantee human rights and fundamental freedoms for minors, and protect them from all forms of violence and lack of protection.”
