The candidate for lehendakari by EH Bildu, Otxandiano hairproposes that the force with the most votes will lead the next Basque government, and is open to a coalition agreement with the PNV, as happens in the Pamplona City Council or the Navarra government.
In an interview for the program “Boulevard” on Radio Euskadi, Otxandiano stated that if EH Bildu is the list with the most votes in the next elections for the Basque Parliament, he should lead the Basque government, and if the PNV is the first force , it should be the one in charge of the new director. From there, he says, “all kinds of cooperative governments” and “coalition formulas” can be formulated that could lead to governments with the external support of another opposition force. “The range can be very broad, and it seems to me a good starting point that the force with the most votes is in the lead,” he added.
Otxandiano understands that “a new era is dawning in this country” and all that Navarre and Pamplona “They are an example of that.” “A very interesting political equation is proposed.
