The far-right parliamentarian Amaia Martínez thinks it is “hasty” to talk about elections, and emphasizes that Vox “values the daily work, not the work in a year”.
Vox’s parliamentarian, Amaia Martinez, when questioned by the EITB Focus survey on voting intent in the 2023 municipal and regional elections, assured her party that her party does not believe “in cooked polls, neither for better or for worse”. Faced with this, he claims ‘the street survey’ in which they see ‘how people receive us with more support and how our message gets through’.
In statements made before the Basque Chamber, Martínez has not come to assess the results of the poll, which, while predicting an increase in Vox’s support, does not grant him representation in any of the three Basque capitals.
According to Martínez, in a year’s time “it will be in a hurry to talk about elections”, and he has assured that Vox “values the daily work, not in a year.”
