Since the then Secretary General of the Ministry of the Interior, Peter Goldgruber, actively organized the witnesses for the WKStA, Gridling cannot imagine that the then Minister of the Interior Herbert Kickl was ignorant. I assume that everything did not happen without the knowledge of the Minister of the Interior. Goldgruber contacted the WkStA. There was strong involvement from the political leadership of the Ministry of the Interior.”
One of the witnesses that Goldgruber organized was the alleged spy Martin Weiss, head of department at BVT at the time. He confirmed the allegations detailed in the pamphlet; he may even have been the author of the pamphlet that started it all.
