After the elections for the Basque Parliament on April 21, the PNV and the PSE-EE will start the elections this Monday talks to form a government, as reported through a joint call. The meeting will take place on 11.30 am at Sabin Etxea.

In the note, they stated that the aim is to form a “solid” Basque government, which, on the basis of an “ambitious program and with broad parliamentary support”, can “provide stability, well-being and progress to all of Euskadi” and states enable her to meet the challenges of the coming years “with determination and success”.
With the PNV’s 27 seats and the PSE-EE’s 12, they have an absolute majority in the Basque parliament, allowing them to re-establish the current coalition government. In this case, the lehendakari would be the Jeltzale candidate Imanol Pradales.
As PNV sources have informed EiTB Media, the jeltzale formation will not start a contact round with the rest of the parties represented in the Basque Parliament, contrary to what was claimed in the campaign.
