The origin of the nuisance lies once again in the community center (GZ), which is currently being built and has already made considerable progress. After a loan of 32.5 million euros had originally been taken out, a new loan from the GZ – of 12 million euros was decided on Monday in the city council meeting. A loan of 3.6 million euros was also secured – for the forest swimming pool in Lech.
“Minister of Finance” has everything under control
How the municipality now wants to repay all these loans, it seems, remains the secret of those responsible for the municipality. Spicy detail: The new loans were necessary, among other things, because the tranches of the first loan that had already been disbursed were used to finance other things – such as the forest pool or the holes that Corona tore in the financial institutions’ 2020 and 2021 budgets.
Criticism of handling information
The opposition’s criticism isn’t just about the exploding costs for GZ. It is also criticized that the community representatives are not given documents before resolutions of one million euros are passed, such as Monday.
