According to Gorrotxategi, the results of the confederal left, which failed to agree on a single coalition, are an “electoral failure” that makes her “saddened”, although she has indicated that this is the case. “declared a failure”. “The divisions of the transformative left clearly entailed a commitment to electoral failure and, in my view, the irresponsibility of leaving a large part of society without deserved political representation, and thus refraining from channeling their demands to the Basque parliament,” he reflected.

Despite everything, Gorrotxategi claims to feel “satisfaction” for having “personally and collectively, with more or less grace, done what we had to do.”
