Man, in his boundless evil, has always shown extraordinary creativity when it comes to tormenting and torturing others. It doesn’t matter if it’s an iron maiden, a rack or a thumbscrew: the louder the screams, the greater the joy.
But the Greens have now reached the height of inhumanity with their social media appearances, and it is likely only a matter of time before Amnesty International files a letter of protest.

Sports Minister Werner Kogler and Health Minister Johannes Rauch started the match, both drunk up to their ears with victory after the 2-1 victory of our kickers in the Ernst Happel Stadium. With glassy eyes of joy, they sing into the camera (quality-wise a mix of the Blair Witch Project and a Bermuda Triangle party video from Sunday 3am): “Hello, my football mice!”
It is almost thanks to them that the national team is so successful, because our stars have never lost when Kogler and Rauch were in the stadium. Like two Happy Buddhas rubbing each other’s bellies. Highlight: Kogler, who you didn’t even know had to tighten his belt, checks with a courageous grip to his waist whether everything is still in place.

As a diversionary tactic for this shame, the Ministry of Green Climate Protection has really put in a lot of effort. Minister Leonore Gewessler had a man dress up in women’s clothes and have him or her do things that the people in her house apparently think are appropriate for women: filing nails, watering flowers, adding copy paper, screaming hysterically into the phone. After all, there are only activities above the desk that can be considered a success.
The EU elections are this Sunday – it is unclear whether the women of Gewessler’s ministry will be allowed to leave the company kitchen to vote.
