Spain presents a declaration of intervention in the case of South Africa against Israel

The Spanish government has taken this step “out of its firm commitment to international law and to the work of the International Court of Justice” and with the intention of “contributing to the return of peace to Gaza and the Middle East.”

Spain has presented to the international Court of Justice a declaration of intervention against Israel, in the proceedings initiated by South Africa. This measure is part of the cause genocide in the Gaza Strip.

‘The goal is put an end to the war and start making progress in the implementation of the two states, which is the only guarantee so that Palestinians and Israelis can live together in peace and security, and stability is achieved in the entire region,” he added.

Spain has taken this step “because of its firm commitment to international law and to the work of the International Court of Justice” and with the intention of “Help bring peace to Gaza and the Middle East“.

In the text, Spain emphasizes that it has an interest in the International Court of Justice examining the case obligation to prevent the commission of genocide “due to the lack of humanitarian access to the Gaza Strip and the destruction of infrastructure.”

Furthermore, it emphasizes that the protective measures issued by the Court in this case are in force mandatory complianceincluding the cessation of the military operation in Rafah and access to humanitarian aid.

It also recalls that the International Court of Justice has urged Israel to do so open humanitarian corridors so that aid flows and the medicine, food, fuel and water that Gaza’s Palestinians need to survive reach the Strip.

Spain has committed itself to this to abide by the ruling that the Court will rule on the genocide trial initiated by South Africa against Israel.
