The general coordinator of EH Bildu has explained that although no date has been set for the next EH Bildu congress, it is scheduled for March or April in Pamplona. On the other hand, he has asked the new Minister of Justice to ‘apply the law’.
The general coordinator of EH Bildu, Arnaldo Otegihas hinted at the health pact that will be worked on in September, and is convinced that “if there is a will, there will be agreements”. “We will be there”, he said, although he acknowledged that the agreement will certainly “not be 100% to everyone’s taste”.
In one interview Otegi, assigned to Radio Euskadi, stressed that “the country needs country agreements” in strategic areas such as Osakidetza. “There must be agreements between nationalists,” he added.
Otegi explained that no date has yet been set for the celebration of the next EH Bildu Congressalthough it is scheduled for March or April in Pamplona. As he has already announced, his intention is to run again to lead this formation and he does not think about “the hypothesis” that another candidate will also present himself, even if it is “an open possibility” and he would not care about it either.
Finally, Otegi responded to the attorney of Justice and human rightsthe socialist María Jesús San José, who is not in office “to fulfill her wishes” but to “obey the law.” The lawyer advocates demanding repentance for the damage caused in order to access prison benefits, and in this sense Otegi has maintained that “this is not in the law.”
