– Board of Directors: The Basque Government will hold its first government council of the new political year on Thursday. With the event, which will take place as usual at the Miramar Palace in San Sebastián, the PNV-PSE-EE coalition government will resume its activities once the August break is over and after an intense public agenda in July.
– Meeting of EU Foreign Ministers: The foreign ministers of the European Union (EU) are meeting in Brussels to discuss with Ukraine the Kursk offensive that opens a new war front with Russia, possible sanctions against Israeli ministers for supporting the actions of violent settlers or the situation in Venezuela after the open crisis following the presidential elections of 28 July, the results of which the EU will not recognise until Caracas presents the official data.
– Yellow warning for rain: A yellow warning code is in effect today for the whole of the Basque Country due to the forecast of stormy showers, which may be accompanied by hail. In Euskadi, the warning is activated at 8:00 and will remain in force until midnight. In Navarra and Iparralde, it is already active (from 06:00).
