The popular would win 58 of the 109 seats in the Andalusian parliament. PSOE would remain in second place with 30 representatives and Vox with 14.
Euskaraz irakurri: PPk gehiengo absolutua lortu du Andaluzian, PSOEk emaitzarik txarrena lortu du eta Cs desagertu egin da
The People’s Party took an undeniable victory in the regional elections on Sunday, June 19, with 58 deputies holding almost 100% control, guaranteeing an absolute majority, set at 55 parliamentarians, against a PSOE that records its worst historical result with 30 seats and citizens (Cs) who stay out of parliament after being a member of the PP in the community’s first non-socialist government.
Gaining more than double the number of seats and support in the polls related to the 2018 regional elections, when it won 26 deputies and 20.8% of the vote, the PP breaks all of the party’s historic ceilings in Andalusia, which alone won the regional elections in 2012 led by Javier Arenas with 50 seats, although he failed to reach government due to the PSOE and IU pact.
Popular candidate Juanma Moreno has celebrated his party’s victory, confirming that in this way “Andalusia will have a moderate government and of all Andalusians”.
It’s a historic night! Very proud.

The PSOE, for its part, has worsened Susana Díaz’s result in 2018, which gave way to the first government without a socialist presence in Andalusia’s history with the party’s lowest data in regional elections when it won 33 deputies, more than one million votes and a support rate of 28%, higher than that now obtained by Juan Espadas, who is also more than 15 seats away from the PP and adds the seats of the rest of the armed forces to his left.
In this sense, Swords has assured that his party has not achieved its goal of mobilizing the left-wing electorate and has pledged to work from tomorrow to regain the confidence of the Andalusians to enter the government of Andalusia within four years.
Vox repeats itself as the third political force and is the only party along with the PP to grow in votes and seats from 2018 to 14, two more than today. In this sense, the far-right group’s candidate, Macarena Olona, has acknowledged that she would have wanted “a better result” than the one obtained, but emphasized that it is “clear” that the party has grown compared to the last election. , and he has warned that he has come to Andalusia to stay.
The biggest electoral setback has been suffered by Ciudadanos, who remains outside the Andalusian parliament with 3.2% of the vote, where it won 21 deputies three and a half years ago to become a partner in the PP government. Its leader, Juan Marín, has resigned tonight.
The forces on the left of the PSOE, Por Andalucía and Adelante Andalucía, remain a long way from the 17 seats they won together in 2018 and would individually get less than half, seven, after leaving more than 5 footholds in the polls. . experienced the division in the last part of the last legislature. For Andalusia, Inmaculada Nieto won five seats and Adelante Andalucía three parliamentarians with Teresa Rodríguez as the visible head.
