– Scrutiny session in the Basque Parliament: After celebrating the first regular plenary session of the 13th legislature, the Basque Parliament is organizing its first government scrutiny session. It will be the first face between Lehendakari Imanol Pradales (PNV) and Pello Otxandiano (EH Bildu) since the investiture session in June.
– General strike in solidarity with Palestine: The General Confederation of Labor (CGT) has declared a general strike in solidarity with Palestine to demand that the Spanish government sever diplomatic and commercial relations with Israel. For the CGT, Spain’s recognition of Palestine as a state remains “a symbolic act aimed at demobilizing the various trade union and social actions, thus delaying the implementation of real measures.”
