According to EITB, both Goia and Lasa will not choose to replace Joseba Egibar at the head of GBB, but in the case of Lasa, he has agreed to move to the next phase as a burukide.
Following this change, Arrizabalga cleared the way to preside over the PNV’s governing body in Gipuzkoa, following Egibar’s announcement that he will no longer lead the executive branch he led for 33 years.
The second round officially starts on November 7 and ends on the 17th of the same month.
The process for the complete renewal of the three CAV executives, which began on October 17, therefore continues its course: Unai Hualde and Peio Etxeleku will continue to lead the NBB and the IBB.
