A senior Iranian commander has announced a new military attack on Israel. The Revolutionary Guard representative said he could not yet provide details. The Israeli and Iranian armies have been shooting at each other repeatedly for months.
The direct clashes started in April. At the time, Iranian forces attacked Israel with more than 300 drones and missiles. Earlier, two Iranian Revolutionary Guard generals were killed in an attack on a building in Damascus, Syria. The Iranian leadership blamed Israel for this and considered it an attack on Iranian territory because its own embassy had been hit.
The Iranian and Israeli sides have repeatedly fired directly at each other in recent months. Last week, Israeli soldiers attacked several military installations and the anti-aircraft system in Iran. This was in response to an attack by Iran with about 200 missiles in early October.
US: Can no longer appease Israel
Recently, several senior officials and military officials in Iran said that the Israeli attack would not go unanswered (see video above). There will definitely be a new operation, said the deputy commander of the Revolutionary Guards, for example. “The enemies, whether it is the Zionist regime or America, will certainly have a devastating response to what they bring to Iran and the resistance front,” the country’s top spiritual leader also said. What exactly he meant by that remained unclear for the time being.
Long-range bombers moved
The US government has warned Iran of retaliation – a rare exchange since the two countries are enemies. The White House cannot again convince the Israeli forces to limit themselves to a relatively limited counterattack.
Due to tensions in the Middle East, the US government has already deployed long-range bombers in the region. Additional missile defense warships, a fighter squadron and tanker aircraft will also be sent.
