The deceased is Mohamed Ali and he was in charge of the warehouse of a mechanical workshop in Gazuani that provides services for humanitarian aid projects funded by Basque institutions.
The Association of Friends of the SADR of Araba has announced the death of one of its employees Tindouf due to Morocco. As the non-governmental organization reported in a note, the Sahrawi citizen “was killed in the attack on a drone from the Moroccan army to the ambulance in which he traveled through the liberated areas of Western Sahara.”
The deceased is Mohammed Ali and he was responsible for the warehouse of Gazuani’s mechanical workshop in the Tindouf refugee camps. It was responsible for the repair and maintenance of vehicles providing services for humanitarian aid in said camps and its operation is financed by Basque institutions.
The association denounces that “Mohamed is not the first victim” under these circumstances. “We have once again been able to see how Morocco bombs militarily and civilly indiscriminately and does so using the airspace of Western Sahara, which is the responsibility of the Spanish state as the administrative power of the territory,” the note said. they accuse the Spanish government of being “complicit in these murders” because it ceded airspace to Morocco.
From the Association of Friends of SADR, they appeal for “compliance with international law,” which, the statement adds, “entails holding a referendum on self-determination as the only way to end create a conflict that unnecessarily continues over time. “and it has very serious consequences for the Sahrawi people”.
