First reactions – “Kunasek is now really a Super Mario”

Date:

This Sunday there will be a blue march at the state elections in Styria. The “Krone” is already receiving initial reactions from the political parties in Tyrol. Above all, the joy among the Freedom Party is – not surprisingly – great.

The FPÖ achieved more than 35 percent in the Green Mark. Tyrolean FPÖ state party leader Markus Abwerzger is satisfied: “Today is a big day for Styria and a big day for Austria. We achieved the best result in the history of Styria.” The high level of support for FPÖ leadership candidate KO Mario Kunasek and the FPÖ in general shows that people want change – “and that change puts people back at the center. things that politicians state. It is the real boss in a democracy. The voters have spoken clearly,” says Abwerzger, emphasizing: “Kunasek is now really a Super Mario.”

“Making new elections possible in Tyrol”
In the direction of the ÖVP, the Tyrolean FPÖ chairman calls on the Tyrolean LH Anton Mattle (ÖVP) to finally put an end to the exclusion policy towards the FPÖ: “The ÖVP Chancellor Karl Nehammer, who was de facto voted out of the elections for the National Council are included in the ÖVP. LH Mattle must therefore reconsider and finally stand up for the interests of the Tyroleans, immediately put an end to the chaos coalition between the ÖVP and SPÖ in Tyrol and make new elections possible.”

The Tyrolean SPÖ is also making itself heard, chairman Philip Wohlgemuth emphasizes: “Today we can without a doubt speak of a ‘political earthquake’. This election result is also a clear mandate for us as leaders: we must find answers to the burning questions of our time. The SPÖ Tirol and I are determined and motivated to do this.”

“Involved, fair election campaign”
Of course the SPÖ wanted a different result for Styria. “Nevertheless: Anton Lang, his team and the SPÖ Styria conducted a committed and fair election campaign. They highlighted topics and content and were close to the population. I would especially like to thank the numerous volunteers for this commitment,” says Wohlgemuth.

Stability and reliability are central
The SPÖ Styria promised to guarantee stability and reliability. The SPÖ will continue to do this in the future: “Working constructively on solutions to problems and reliably promoting the positive development of Styria.”
