The President of the Spanish Pelota Federation, Juan Garcia Angulois very angry with the President of the International Basque Pelota Federation, Xavier Cazabounafter the Basque Pelota Federation has become today full member of the International Ball Federation. He has accused him of ‘arrogance’ and announced that the Spanish Federation will ‘draw the ultimate consequences’.
In a post on social networks, he described it as an “injustice” that Spain was excluded from the vote. García Angulo himself is disqualified because of some words he spoke against the Arabs and that is why he was unable to vote.
Furthermore, the Federation is in the middle of the election process and is currently governed by a management committee, whose members did not appear at this meeting and therefore did not vote.
The hitherto president Julián García Angulo has announced a call on his networks, making it clear that they will deal with the final consequences.
He has also sharply criticized the representatives of Navarra and Valencia, whom he singled out by first and last names.
García Angulo has used terms such as “atropello” and “cacicada”, words similar to those used by UPN in a message sent to the media.
