Great success for the “Krone” fairness campaign with “FunkenWärme” and Caritas: the chancellor and all Turkish ministers are there.
“A rescue package for those in need,” called Caritas President Michael Landau in the “Krone” interview at the start of our honesty campaign. The donation of the climate bonus supports “Ein FunkenWärme”. The response has been overwhelming: not only prominent personalities, but also many others who could use the money, gave their anti-inflation money to those who have it less.
Now the 13 Turkish ministers and state secretaries are leading by example and are giving their climate bonus of 500 euros. “I thank the ‘Krone’ and Caritas for this campaign, it helps very directly and immediately those who need it,” said ÖVP party leader and chancellor Karl Nehammer. And Michael Landau emphasizes: “This tool keeps people warm, fills refrigerators and enables people to pay for soaring energy costs. Only together can we get through this crisis well.”
Greens donate regularly
From the side of the green half of the government, at the request of “Krone”, it was said that regular donations were made to various charities. In September alone, Alma Zadic, Andrea Mayer, Johannes Rauch, Leonore Gewessler and Werner Kogler donated 7,200 euros to Caritas to contribute to all those who suffer particularly from inflation.
