Chivite found it “clear that our current health law needs to be reformed and modernized,” from the “consensus to negotiate a new law useful for the Navarrese society of this decade.”

Regarding education, he assured that “it is the first link of a just society” and noted that Navarre is the community that presents: “by far”, the lowest dropout rate of the country or the greater employability of people with vocational training in Europe.

Chivite views the TAV as “strategic to guarantee rail freight transport and thus industrial competitiveness.”

Regarding the second phase of the Navarra Canal, he announced that work will begin this year “to bring quality water to the Ribera, guaranteeing a modern, sustainable agricultural sector and new industrial developments.”

Likewise, he has made “concerns about housing, its scarcity and its price” a “priority” and proposed “measures so that citizens have access to affordable, quality housing.”

“Almost half of the families renting in Navarra are supported by the government: 6,300 young people and families receive rental subsidies, while another 5,300 live in public or officially protected housing,” he explains.

In this sense, “new tax incentives have come into effect offering a 90% discount for properties included in the public rental pool” and “stressed market areas have been declared to stop price increases.”
