Following the pact between the coalition government and the sovereigntist formation to draw up the 2024 budgets, a new agreement for the 2025 budgets is confirmed. The details will be announced on Monday.
The Vitoria-Gasteiz coalition government between the PSE and the PNV has reached an agreement with EH Bildu to advance the 2025 budgets, as city council sources confirmed to the EITB, although they did not put forward the details of the agreement .
The 2024 budgets were approved partly thanks to the agreement reached between the two partner parties of the municipal team, PSE-EE and PNV, which govern in a minority, with EH Bildu, the main opposition force. On that occasion, the bills received positive votes from the parties of the government team and EH Bildu abstained.
The tripartite agreement has worked beyond budget in Vitoria-Gasteiz, since last October they have agreed on the tax regulations for 2025.
The details of the agreement on the budgets reached will be announced on Monday.
