Susanne Fürst traveled to Washington for the FPÖ to attend the inauguration of Donald Trump. What the Blue MP experienced there must have made a deep impression on her, because she sees the policy of the new American president as a role model. Trump has “really announced a turning point,” and Fürst would also like this to happen in Austria.
“It is now up to us to do this in Austria too – with a liberal party in the government and with Chancellor Herbert Kickl,” Fürst explained on X on Tuesday evening.
“Donald Trump was full of optimism and drive during his speech. He has addressed the most pressing issues,” said Fürst, who attended the inauguration on Monday at a side event at the invitation of a Republican senator.
“Trump will de-escalate internationally,” Fürst said. He wants to go down in history as a peacemaker. He will abolish the Green Deal in the US and return to openness to technology and fossil energy.
Trump “will eliminate all waking madness”
“He will eliminate all the woke madness: there are now officially only two genders in the US,” Fürst continued. She also emphasized that Trump would “align all his policies with the interests of the American people.” He will close the borders and carry out large-scale deportations.
