The 26-year-old Alexander Leutge won the stitch election of the mayor in Baumgartenberg with a clear voice lead for VP candidate Natascha Burian. The winner was also satisfied in a first explanation about the particularly high turnout.
The Runoff election around the mayor’s post of Baumgartenberg was very clear on Sunday. SP -candidate Alexander Leutge won with 667 votes, while rival Natascha Burian (ÖVP) received 435 votes. The 26-year-old is the youngest mayor of all of Austria.
Rise
With 76.4 percent, the turnout was even higher than in the first vote. In a first statement, the election winner was overwhelmed by the result and especially the high turnout.
