Due to the intensified immigration policy among US President Donald Trump, countless migrants in Central America return to their home country. On Tuesday (local time) dozens of people illegally crossed the border between Costa Rica and Panama.
According to the TV station TVN, a group of around 200 migrants, most of whom come from Venezuela came, stopped by the police after a crowd and was initially sent back to Costa Rica.
Panama wanted to order the return of migrants to their home country and to deal safely, the Ministry of Security justified the procedure.
“Migrant movements checked”
After a meeting with representatives of Costa Ricas, it was agreed to control the migrant movements in the opposite direction.
People must therefore first be registered and then returned to their country of origin on the Zeroute or by plane. Previous people must also be identified on time.
US President Trump wants to act rigorously against immigrants who come to the country illegally or are already in the United States without a valid residence status.
More American soldiers on the border of Mexico
Various ministries are encouraged to work on this goal. For this goal, more American soldiers were parked for the support of the border guards on the border with Mexico.
Discouraged migrants are flown back to their home country. Civil rights activists and human rights activists criticize the procedure of the new US government as inhumane (see also video above).
