On Monday, however, Senskyj made it clear that his government would not accept similarities between Washington and Moscow.
“Ukraine looks at some negotiations about Ukraine without the Ukraine as such that have no result,” emphasized Ukrainian head of state to journalists in the United Arab Emirates. At the same time, the 47-year-old stated that he had not been informed in advance about the negotiations in Riad. In recent days there was speculation because Senskyj had also entered the region.
Talk about war prisoners in the Emirates
Senskyj met Sajid in the Emirates on Monday, as the WAM State Agency reported. Mohammed therefore said in Abu Dhabi that the Emirates tried for a peaceful solution for the “conflict in Ukraine” without mentioning attackers in the passage.
Senskyj described the conversation with Mohammed, which, among other things, was about the return of Ukrainians from Russian imprisonment as “meaningful”. “The mediation of the VAE has saved many lives,” Senskyj wrote on X. The Emirates transferred the exchange of hundreds between Russia and Ukraine in the war.
In Abu Dhabi, the two heads of state signed an agreement on the duty -free import of almost all Ukrainian goods in the UAE and emiratic goods to Ukraine. According to Emiratic Information, the goal is, among other things, a faster recovery of the Ukrainian economy. “We are grateful for the collaboration that saves life and helps our countries to become stronger,” said Senskyj on X.
