Korinna Schumann takes over a monster department with work and social. It must implement “integration from day 1”.
The Champagne Corks will have surfaced loudly in the Ministry of Social Affairs. After many years, the department returns to the trade union association. With the 58-year-old Korinna Schumann, however, none of the heavyweights of the subunions are taken over. But it has an advantage: the women’s chairman of the parliamentary group leader of the ÖGB and Spö in the Federal Council knows the Ministry of Social Affairs such as the Portfoliobocket. She laid there in 1989, and for no less than 14 years acted as chairman of the office committee in the ministry.
The “Red Hartinger-Klein”
However, the working area is reminiscent of the Super Department 2017, where the Chaotic Beate Hartinger-Klein (FPö) failed: work, social affairs, care, health (here she is supported by a state secretary). Schumann already describes malignant tongues as the “Red Hartinger-Klein”.
“Schumann will surprise”
Union colleagues Josef Muchitsch is certain: “Schumann will surprise. It will soon convince with Down -SeAthness, understandable language and teamwork. The trade union burns for social justice and women’s policy. “She is not an emancative, but a hunter for her ideals.”
The biggest challenge: asylum seekers are prepared for the labor market under the title “Integration from day 1”. There must be sanctions for unwilling people. Does a red manage the turn in the integration policy?
