Proposal from Paris -Kremlin: temporarily ceases -furen “unacceptable”

The Kremlin rejects a temporary cessation -the fire in Ukraine. A break of one months of attacks from the air and at sea is “absolutely unacceptable,” said the speaker of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Sacharova, on Thursday.

The French and Ukrainian government had previously submitted such a proposal. “Fixed agreements for a final agreement are necessary,” said Sacharowa. The proposal is the attempt of a “initiated regime (…) to prevent a collapse at the front at all costs”. The opponent of the war would use such a break to strengthen military skills.

The governments of Great -Britain and France had announced that they wanted to work out a plan for a cessation -the fire in Ukraine. This must also be discussed with the White House. This is the result of conversations with Ukrainian President Wolodyymyr Senskyj, Macron and US President Trump, said Great -Britain -Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

EU Special Summit: “Turning Point for Europe”
It is about a “just and permanent peace”. On Thursday, the EU State and the heads of government came together to form a Ukraine top. The focus is on support and upgrading Europe. This is “a moment of the turning point for Europe,” said EU chef Ursula von der Leyen of the EU committee.
