According to Kiev, the Russian army sent soldiers by a gas pipeline to reclaim the small town of Sudscha in the West -Russian area of Kursk. The hunters were discovered in this advance and attacked by Ukrainian troops – countless Russians were killed in the opponent. Some would be stitched in the pipeline.
“The units of the opponent were discovered on time by the air exploration of the parachutists of Ukrainian forces,” said the general staff in Kiev on Saturday night on his telegram canal.
The Russian troops were shot with rockets, artillery and drones. The information cannot be checked independently. Russian military blogs had previously reported about the attempt to storm Sudscha.
The gas tube would be part of the pipeline leading by Uchgorod, which was still delivered to Europe at the beginning of 2025. The pipes have a diameter of 1.40 meters.
Ukraine took parts of Kursk
Ukraine has been fighting a Russian invasion for three years. Last summer, Ukrainian troops were part of the Kursk area in a surprising counterattack. For months, Russian units have pushed back the Ukrainians in heavy fighting. Finally, the Ukrainian troops are stationed there in a crisis, possibly also by forwarding information information and satellite images that have been stopped by the US.
Ukraine wants to use the areas in Kursk as a fist pan to get his own areas back in negotiations. The Kremlin categorically rejects the negotiations on Kursk and has announced that it will drive or kill all Ukrainian soldiers who had entered Russia. The Russian army itself keeps about a fifth of the Ukrainian area occupied.
