As part of an event of the Jewish community in Vienna, former Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) received a special prize. Moreover, the 52-year-old was surprised with special guests who was visibly moved by this …
Nehammer received a “shofar” from Ariel Muzicant, the president of the European Jewish congress. This is a stylized horn and one of the highest prices of the Jewish people. About 400 guests attended the event.
“I am deeply moved”
But that was not everything. The parents of the recently released Valley Shaham surprised the visibly moving former Chancellor with their visit to Vienna. “I am deeply moved,” said Nehammer. And added: “This is an incredible honor. And that Gilad and Nitza Korngold came to Vienna for this.”
According to Nehammer, everything is done to free numerous shaham from Hamas’ violence. “But it is still the case that another 59 hostages are in the violence of the terrorist organization Hamas,” said Nehammer.
The suffering of SHOHAM found a happy result after 505 days of imprisonment, the other hostages still suffer from the inhuman conditions of their imprisonment. “We don’t let go until all hostages are free,” emphasized Nehammer.
